Poetry Corner

This is my favourite latest creation, its called Fleeting Hearts

If you pause
For the briefest of moments
You can watch the fleeting hearts pass by
On gossamer wings
And silver strings
That flutter and float awry

They sing their songs
And shed their tears
Such sorrow they dare to unfurl
As empty as void
As fleeting as fey
Yet they hold the key to your world

As night draws on
And time seems to pause
You realise the ultimate lie
With fleeting hearts
Their grace is but brief
And were never
Yours nor mine
